Graham P. Weihmiller, CEO of Canary Home Visits
Graham was previously the CEO of Griswold Home Care – a 40-year-old homecare services company for seniors with over 150 locations across the United States. There, he focused on enhancing the care and consistency of care for clients and their families. He is a Certified Senior Advisor® and a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS). He has been involved in elder care for over 30 years – first with his grandmother, then with his late father, and currently with his mother. He has a passion for excellence in eldercare and for finding ways of providing more care to more seniors in the most affordable way.
Mr. Weihmiller was previously also the CEO of BNI, the world’s largest referral networking organization with operations in 77 countries. There he served as a Director of the BNI Foundation, which helps underprivileged children throughout the world access life changing educational opportunities. Previously, Graham worked in leadership roles with American Franchise Company, Bank of America, and Merrill Lynch. Earlier in his career, he spent time on projects at JP Morgan, Booz Allen Hamilton, and The White House.
Graham received his MBA from Harvard Business School and his BBA from The College of William & Mary. He has done subsequent executive education with Harvard Business School in Boston and in Mumbai and is a two-time participant in executive training from Johnson & Johnson’s Human Performance Institute. He is a Certified Franchise Executive and a Six Sigma Blackbelt. He was elected to the board of the International Franchise Association (IFA) in 2020 and selected as Chairman of IFA’s Franchisor Forum in 2022. He is an active member of YPO and he speaks frequently on entrepreneurship, franchising, and operational excellence. He has participated in seminars and panels at Harvard University, Stanford University and Georgetown University. In 2020, he co-wrote The Connector Effect, which became a best seller on Amazon.
Originally from Virginia, Graham lives with his family in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is a three-time Ironman triathlete, a marathoner, and has summited Mt. Kilimanjaro. He and his wife, Sarah – a pediatric emergency room doctor – are active members of their church, enjoy movie time with their three children, playing with their two German Shepherds and two cats, camping trips in the Carolina mountains, and traveling together throughout the world.

Dr. Sarah N. Weihmiller, Advisor
Dr. Weihmiller works within Atrium Health in Charlotte, North Carolina with a primary focus on pediatric urgent care. Previously, she worked in Atrium’s Level 1 trauma center emergency department, which is the top children’s hospital in North Carolina. Before Atrium, she worked at AI DuPont Nemours Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware in their Level 1 trauma emergency department – the top such facility in Delaware. Previously, she was an Attending Physician and Fellow at Boston Children’s Hospital / Harvard University in Boston, MA.
Dr. Weihmiller holds multiple certifications related to the roles above and has also held number administrative positions for the organizations noted above including the Departmental Committee for Quality Assurance at Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte and Faculty Advisor at AI DuPont Nemours Hospital in Delaware. She has published numerous articles in leading journals and several chapters in highly regarded books in her field. She has also presented at leading conferences in the US. She has received the Gold Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award and the William Perry Watson Prize in Pediatrics from Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, and the Arnold P. Gold Foundation Grant from Columbia University. She’s licensed to practice medicine in both North Carolina and South Carolina.
